 OPENIT : "Promoting Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Bodies in ARCHIMED Zone through Open Source & Free Software" is a project under INTERREG III, STRAND B Community Initiative and ARCHIMED programme. It falls in PRIORITY AXIS 2 - Transport and telecommunication networks – Information Society MEASURE 2.2 - Upgrading the access to the Information Society.
Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the initiator and Project Leader of the above program. The rest of the partners are:

Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft Trade and Agriculture of Reggio Calabria (IT)

This is the official project site in order to make it easier for the partners to communicate and collaborate throughout the project. Naturally, it is based on Joomla!, an open source Content management System (CMS) in order to demonstrate first hand the potential of Open Source Software.

The OpenIT seminars that took place in Edessa co-operated by Chamber of Pella and Region of Central Macedonia in March 26 completed successfully.
